Information Collection and Use
The goal of the app is to conduct a user study in the form of a game on the 3D perception of some medical image techniques. In this game, players will role-play as a surgeon that has to analyze the human brain. They will be presented with 3D models of vessel structures and will be asked to connect some points on this vessel structure using their finger and/or to press some buttons on the screen. The gameplay data will be collected and used for research purposes, to compare the efficiency of different medical imaging techniques. Note that no medical or health-related data will be collected from the user in any way.
While using our Service, during the profile creation, I will ask you to provide your gender which will then be sent to our server by HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure). The information that I request will be otherwise anonymous and help to conduct the user study on 3D perception of medical imaging techniques. During the profile creation, you must check the box that states “I agree that my data is collected anonymously and used for a study. For more information, you can email AP-lab@macko.ws” in order to be able to create the profile.
All the collected data during the gameplay and during the profile creation will be confidential and used exclusively for the study on 3D perception of medical imaging techniques and for improving the Service. The collected data will be stored on a server in a secure way and will not be shared or used for any purposes other than the ones described previously.
Log Data
I want to inform you that whenever you use my Service, in addition to the gameplay data and the data entered during the profile creation, I also collect information about your device called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing my Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics. This information will be sent to our server by HTTPS to help us conduct a user study related to medical imaging.
Cookies
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device’s internal memory.
This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services.
