My primary focus is developing innovative and accessible tools to improve confidence in surgical decision-making among patients and their clinicians. Specifically, I developed an augmented reality mHealth prototype application for surgical decision-making in breast cancer.
We have come up with 2 ways of displaying post-operative results on patients' breasts: either Marker-less or Marker-based.
For the Marker-based method, the 3D model of the patient's post-operative result is projected upon the detection of an AR Marker which is a QR code in our case.
